BACKGROUND: The National Conference on Media Reform (NCMR) will focus on broadening the media reform movement, envisioning the future of our media system, harnessing new technology for change, and achieving concrete policy victories through sustainable organizing. Over three days, the conference will feature 60 fascinating panel discussions and workshops plus inspiring speeches, multimedia presentations, film screenings, roundtable meetings with policymakers, regional caucuses for you to meet media reformers from your home state, and dozens of receptions and parties.

The NCMR is organized around five thematic tracks:

Media Policy; Media Reform Activism and Movement Building; Journalism and Independent Media; Civil Rights, Social Justice, and Media; The Next Frontier

Conference Registration: Fees are $250 for regular registration and $350 for supporting registration. The supporting registration fee helps Free Press offer a lower $95 fee for students, seniors and lower-income activists.
